Using Flock

Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Flock, a private health-tracking and voluntary group-sharing service operated by Gasta AB.

Last updated: 8 September 2026

Agreement and eligibility

By creating or using a Flock account, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Flock for an organisation, you confirm that you may bind it.

What Flock is — and is not

Flock helps you record health and fitness information, view trends and optionally share selected progress with people in your flocks. It is a wellness tool, not a medical device or healthcare service.

Flock does not provide diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. Calculations, nutrition data, imported records and estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not use Flock for emergencies or as a substitute for professional advice. Seek qualified care for medical decisions or urgent symptoms.

Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless it results from our failure to protect the service.

Access may be invitation-only or limited during testing. An invitation is personal and may expire or be revoked.

Your data and sharing

You keep ownership of content and data you submit. You give Gasta AB a limited licence to host, process, reproduce and display it only as needed to operate, secure and improve Flock and to honour the sharing choices you make.

Sharing is voluntary and controlled by category and detail level. People who can see information may still copy or disclose it outside Flock, so share only with people you trust. Do not upload another person's health data or image without permission.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use Flock unlawfully, deceptively or to harm, harass or monitor another person;
  • try to access another account or data you are not authorised to see;
  • interfere with security, availability or normal operation, including automated scraping or abusive traffic;
  • upload malicious code or content that infringes another person's rights; or
  • resell or commercially exploit Flock without written permission.

Third-party services

Flock can interact with Apple Health and OpenFoodFacts and relies on infrastructure providers. Their own terms and availability also apply. Product and nutrition information from OpenFoodFacts is community-supplied; verify it when accuracy matters. You control Apple Health permissions through your device.

Service changes and availability

We may improve, replace, suspend or discontinue features and may limit beta access. We aim to keep Flock reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We will give reasonable notice of material changes when practical.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Flock and delete your account in the app at any time. We may restrict or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, create risk for others or the service, or if law requires it. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a chance to remedy the issue.

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Gasta AB is not liable for indirect loss, lost opportunities or decisions made from inaccurate or unavailable health, nutrition or fitness information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Law, disputes and changes

Swedish law governs these terms, without limiting mandatory protections available where you live. Contact hello@flock.rocks first so we can try to resolve a concern. Consumers in the EU may also use applicable national or EU dispute-resolution channels.

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated when required. Continuing to use Flock after an effective update means the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you may stop using and delete your account.
